Hi there. I am Patrick Cory. Most of you probably do not know me, but officially, I am the Vice-President of Home Repair Express. Unofficially I am Stephanie’s husband. My main career, and passion, is teaching. I am very fortunate to have been teaching for 12 years now, and I have been at Kennedy since 2003. I paid my way though college though an athletic scholarship, and by working construction every summer and during semester breaks.
I continued working construction during the summer months
after I started teaching. In 2001
I began a Professional Window Washing business, which allowed a more
flexible schedule for my family.
Although I‘ve worked in many different construction fields, I certainly
don’t claim to know everything about our trade.
But I do know enough to stay out the way and let our guys (Jim,
Tom & Brian) do the great work they do.
When using and referring our company for Remodeling and

Looking back at 10
years!
HAPPY 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO HOME REPAIR EXPRESS! As
we approach our anniversary, we would like to take this opportunity
to share some of our milestones with you.
2000—Don & Sharon Novak opened the doors at Home Repair Express. Craig Sealls joined the team as the Manager/Service Technician.
2001—Brian Holland came on board as a Service Technician.
2003—Joining Home Repair Express as a Service Technician was Tom Paulsen. Also joining the staff was Stephanie Cory, Bookkeeper and Office Manager (for both Novak Construction & Home Repair Express).
2005—Home Repair Express turned 5 years old!
2006—Craig Sealls retires as Manager and Stephanie Cory took the reins.
2007—June—Stephanie & Patrick Cory purchased Home Repair Express and moved it to this current location at 698 58th AVE CT SW. In August, Jim Timmerman joined our team as a Lead Carpenter/Service Technician. Jim had worked with Don at Novak Construction for over 10 years.
2008—We kicked off the Remodeling division of Home Repair Express & added Dana Clark as Sales Consultant/Designer.
2010—July—10th Anniversary Client Appreciation/Open House. Watch for more details to come!

Getting
to know us: Brian
Holland
Brian Holland started with Home Repair Express back
in 2001 as a Service Technician. He has over 17 years in the
construction field. After leaving us for a short time to take a
position at Four Oaks in maintenance, he returned to work with us in
2006. Brian’s skills include plumbing, electrical, painting,
staining, framing & finish work. You could pretty much say that he
is “well rounded & skilled in everything”. He can handle your
project from start to finish. Brian has recently taken on a new
roll with Home Repair Express as our Estimator for our handyman &
smaller jobs. But don’t worry, Brian still likes to get out there
on the job and get his hands dirty!
